OASIS
- Open Architecture Security Integration System
Oasis is a software package which integrates numerous security
systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, intercoms,
pagers and others into a common graphical user interface.
No other software package supports the variety of products
- more than 75 systems from 30 manufacturers.
Oasis is currently in use at over 1,000 facilities
worldwide, including many high security government and defense
facilities. It is a proven, stable product that has the endorsement
of some of the largest manufacturers in the security industry.
Easy to use
A
"five minute" learning curve. All devices are represented
by icons on graphical maps. Operators don't have to learn
camera numbers, intercom station numbers or even door or alarm
descriptions.
True, powerful integration
Combines CCTV, access control, alarm, intercom and building
management subsystems into one complete security system.
Complete control of
on-line functions
Full on-screen control of camera, VCR, door, gate, relay and
intercom functions.
Global Links
Links across subsystems to automate alarm and event handling.
Advanced Alarm Handling
Provides advanced alarm handling capabilities to any system.
Sixteen alarm priorities are provided, as well as 3 "super
alarm" priority overrides. Alarms can be linked to other
icons to call up a camera, turn on lights, start recorders,
etc. Instructions can be displayed for operators and operator
responses can be logged. Alarms can be acknowledged at any
workstation with appropriate privilege levels.
Real-Time Status Display
Real-time status of each device on the system is displayed
on each workstation, including doors, alarms, intercoms, lights,
etc.
Fast, High Quality Graphics
Integrated CAD program uses true vector graphics (rather than
bitmaps). Maps are drawn and loaded fast. They're also easy
to create using the CAD program. If desired, AutoCAD DXF and
Windows bitmap files can be imported as well. An icon library
is provided, but users can edit or add icons using the built-in
icon editor.
Complete Logging
Security system events and operator activities, including
a "memo log" feature, can be stored on each workstation
or on a central log server. Log report generator included
or custom reports can be created using popular database or
report generator programs.
Advanced, Secure Networking
Connect to systems and devices throughout a facility. No need
to home-run cables to a common server. Oasis uses TCP/IP networking
so it can run on any network supporting TCP/IP, including
wide area and dial-up networks. All network traffic is encrypted
to provide a "secure" security system. Oasis can
add data security to access control systems that currently
lack secure networking.
Hot Backup
Redundant connections to most subsystems. This allows instant
re-routing of communications from Oasis to the subsystem if
a network connection is lost, a computer dies or a cable is
cut.
Modular Architecture
Interfaces with multiple systems using specific software modules.
Easy setup designed for each subsystem. For example, to set
up a camera icon, the installer enters the monitor, camera
and preset number (if any) for the camera, select which controls
to display (pan, tilt, focus, etc). and a description.
Open Architecture
Displays dialog boxes, giving the user access to subsystem
information, such as cardholder data, badging, panel data
and other programming information. These capabilities depend
on the CIM.
Proven and Stable
Oasis has been installed in some of the largest high security
facilities in the world for well over a year. Oasis has been
endorsed by some of the leading security product manufacturers.
